Brazil falls for the 5th consecutive year in the corruption perception ranking and is tied with Albania and Egypt. The Corruption Perceptions Index is the main indicator of corruption in the public sector in the world. The IPC evaluates 180 countries and rates them on a scale of 0 to 100, with 0 being highly corrupt and 100 being countries perceived as having integrity.
